A trip to the City of Samarkand was organized for employees of the central office of Goskomstat

The decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated February 3, 2018 No.UP-5326 "On additional organizational measures to create favorable conditions for the development of the tourist potential of the Republic of Uzbekistan" was approved.

In order to ensure the implementation of this decree, as well as in order to implement the project "Travel across Uzbekistan!" Within the framework of the program for the development of domestic tourism, on September 25 of this year, the Trade Union of the State Committee on Statistics organized a trip to the city of Samarkand for the employees of the central office of the committee.

Tourists visited the Registan complex for the first time. This complex is an ensemble of three luxurious buildings, such as Ulugbek Madrasah, Sherdor Madrasah and Tillakori Madrasah, which served as educational institutions. Registan Square, which is the historical center of Samarkand, attracted employees with the beauty and grandeur of its ancient architecture.

Then they had the opportunity to get better acquainted with other sights of the city of Samarkand, its architectural and ancient monuments reflecting a long history. Visiting the more picturesque and charming settlements of ancient Samarkand, madrasahs, mausoleums, minarets and modern complexes, they felt the breath of history and were impressed.
