A video seminar was organized by the State Committee on Statistics and the responsible experts of the United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF) to describe the stages of random sampling of households for a new sample of the MICS survey.
The event was attended by Goskomstat employees and international experts.
The seminar considered the issue of random sampling of households for selection (4448 households in 556 makhallas) required for conducting Multiple Indicator Cluster Surveys in the country.
Recall that on July 24, 2019, the Cabinet of Ministers adopted a resolution "On conducting a Multiple Indicator Cluster Surveys in the Republic of Uzbekistan in 2020-2021." The main purpose of the Multiple Indicator Cluster Surveys (MICS) is to collect data on the living conditions of the population.
