According to preliminary data from sample surveys of households by the State Committee on Statistics, as of January-September 2021, the structure of households in the Kashkadarya region by the number of children is:
76.3% of households have children under the age of 16, of which 22.2% have one child, 25.9% have two children, 19.5% have three children and 8.7% have four or more children.
According to sample surveys, 23.7% of households do not have children under 16 years of age.
