At the end of January-September 2021, the share of trade in the GDP of the Republic of Uzbekistan amounted to 6.5%.
In January-September 2021, in the structure of gross value added of trade, the largest share fell on retail trade (excluding trade in motor vehicles) and amounted to 66.8% (in January-September 2020 - 68.6%, in January-September 2019 - 68.1%).
The share of wholesale trade (excluding trade in motor vehicles) amounted to 26.7% (in January-September 2020 - 25.6%, in January-September 2019 - 25.4%), wholesale and retail trade in motor vehicles and their repairs - 6.5% (in January-September 2020 - 5.8%, in January-September 2019 - 6.5%).
