On November 10 this year, a training seminar on the topic “Collection, analysis and use of statistical information on disability” was held at the “City Place” hotel with the participation of representatives of the Association of Disabled People of Uzbekistan, UNDP, as well as a number of ministries and departments.
The event was also attended by employees of the Central Office of the State Committee on Statistics.
During the training seminar, Chairman of the Association of Persons with Disabilities of Uzbekistan Oybek Isokov, international expert Daniel Mont and others expressed their opinions on the topics “Disability statistics in Uzbekistan”, “Analysis of data on disability”, “Type and level of disability”, “Reliance on the experience of disabled selection and adjustment of appropriate indicators”.
At the end of the event, the participants received detailed answers to their questions on the topic.
