At the end of 2021, the GRP of the Syrdarya region amounted to 15,583.1 billion soums and, compared to 2020, increased by 10.2 %. In this region, positive growth rates were noted in agriculture, forestry and fisheries - 104.4 % (share in the GRP structure - 39.6 %), industry - 118.5 % (24.0 %), construction - 117.0 % (8.4 %) and the service sector - 109.2 % (28.0 %). GRP per capita increased by 8.1 % and amounted to 17 915.7 thousand soums.
