At the end of 2021, per capita gross domestic product in the Republic of Uzbekistan amounted to 21,039.3 thousand soums and increased by 5.3% compared to the previous year.
High volumes of gross regional product (GRP) per capita were noted in Navoi region (57,983.4 thousand soums), Tashkent city (43,211.1 thousand soums) and Tashkent region (28,163.9 thousand soums). The smallest volumes of GRP per capita were observed in Surkhandarya (11,095.3 thousand soums), Namangan (11,892.5 thousand soums) and Fergana (12,267.9 thousand soums) regions.

In the current period, high growth rates of GRP per capita were recorded in Tashkent (112.0%), Syrdarya (108.1%) and Khorezm (107.6%) regions. At the same time, in Andijan (102.7%), Bukhara (104.8%) and Jizzakh (104.8%) regions, the growth rate of GRP per capita was below the Republican level (105.3%).
