As we reported earlier, the Committee’s specialists took part in training seminars to study the experience of the Republic of Belarus in conducting a population census in Minsk from January 31 to February 5, 2022.
On February 18 this year, a presentation was held for the employees of the central office of the committee on the results of studying the Belarusian experience in conducting a population census.
Employees of the Department for organizing and conducting registration processes K. Berdikulov, K. Saparov, S. Huseynov, the Department of Information Security Sh. Dzhanadilov and the Department for the Development of Information and Communication Technologies and Interactive Public Services Sh. Samadov and M. Umarov shared their experience gained during the business trip .
In particular, information was provided on the procedure for conducting a population census and filling out census documents, on studying the experience of dividing a territory into sections in electronic form, as well as on drawing up organizational plans for conducting a population census.
Also, information was provided on the process of work of census takers with tablet devices for the census, the requirements for the technical characteristics of tablet devices were discussed, in connection with which, the issues of using software on tablet devices, experience in coordinating, monitoring and technical support of the population census process were considered.
At the end of the presentation, an exchange of views took place on the above topics, exhaustive answers were given to the questions of interest to the participants.
