On March 5 this year, a working group headed by the Chairman of the State Committee on Statistics Begalov Bakhodir Abdusalomovich visited the Syrdarya region, studied pricing in the markets and got acquainted with the course of monitoring prices.
During the visit, the Chairman of the State Committee on Statistics visited the central dekhkan market in the city of Gulistan in order to study prices for certain types of food products, and also talked with sellers and entrepreneurs.
Also, the head of the Committee presented to the staff of the price statistics department of the Department of Statistics of the Syrdarya region his proposals and recommendations on the use of tablets in the formation of data on the minimum and maximum prices for certain types of food products and monthly price observations in the regional central dehkan markets.
This, in turn, will serve to further ensure the objectivity and transparency of the monthly inflation rate indicator published by the State Committee on Statistics in the Republic of Uzbekistan.
