On April 18 this year, World Bank expert Dmitro Kotlyar organized an online training on the topic “Basics of Corruption Risk Management”.
More than 40 representatives of the internal control structures of state bodies and organizations took part in the seminar. From the State Committee on Statistics, the head of the Internal Anti-Corruption Control Service Z. Abdukhamidov took part in this seminar via zoom.
The training discussed the concepts and international tools for managing corruption risks, the main areas of assessment, international experience and further steps that can be implemented in the conditions of Uzbekistan.
In particular, there was an exchange of experience in the implementation of international standards ISO 37001:2018/2016 in the field of corruption risk management and prevention of corruption, experience and activities of foreign countries (South Korea, Ukraine, Moldova, France and Malaysia) in this direction, criteria for assessing corruption risks.
At the end of the event, the questions asked by the participants were discussed in detail.
