According to the results of January-March 2022, the share of transportation and storage in the GDP of the Republic of Uzbekistan amounted to 5.8%.In the structure of the gross value added of the transportation and storage industry, the largest share fell on road transport - 59.2% (in January-March 2021 - 59.7%, in January-March 2020 - 51.6%).Pipeline transport amounted to 11.5% (in January-March 2021 - 14.9%, in January-March 2020 - 19.4%), railway transport - 12.1% (in January-March 2021 - 13, 1%, in January-March 2020 - 13.5%), auxiliary transport activities - 12.3% (in January-March 2021 - 9.7%, in January-March 2020 - 9.6%), air transport - 4.9% (in January-March 2021 - 2.6%, in January-March 2020 - 5.9%) of the total value added of this industry.
