According to the results of January-March 2022, the share of trade in the GDP of the Republic of Uzbekistan amounted to 7.6%.In January-March 2022, in the structure of gross value added of trade, the largest share fell on retail trade (except for trade in motor vehicles) and amounted to 67.5% (in January-March 2021 - 69.2%, January-March 2020 68.7%.The share of wholesale trade (except for trade in motor vehicles) amounted to 25.7% (in January-March 2021 - 24.5%, January-March 2020 - 24.4%), wholesale and retail trade in motor vehicles and their repair – 6,8 %(in January-March 2021 - 6.3%, January-March 2020 - 6.9%).
