Together with the Departments of Statistics and Tourism of the Andijan region, it is planned to conduct selective observations of inbound and outbound tourism in the Andijan region.
Botir Irgashev, head of the Department of Statistics of Foreign Economic Activity and Trade, Botir Irgashev, Acting Head of the Department of Statistics of Andijan region Farhod Jalolov and senior officials of the regional Department of Tourism organized a training seminar for supervisors and members of the working group on effective organization of observational data.
It should be noted that these observations determine the procedure for conducting selective observation of inbound and outbound tourism on the territory of the Republic of Uzbekistan. It also provides a complete accounting of the volume of tourism in the export of the Republic, the formation of indicators of tourism statistics and auxiliary accounting of tourism.
Based on the results of observations, information is generated on the tourist flow, the purpose and duration of tourist trips, the composition of the expenses of foreign tourists on the territory of the republic and residents of Uzbekistan who have made foreign trips.
The export-import indicator for tourism of the Republic is calculated on the basis of the results of sample observation, based on the average cost per visitor.
The organization and conduct of monitoring will be carried out in cooperation with the Ministries of Tourism and Cultural Heritage, Investments and Foreign Trade.
