According to the results of January-March 2022, the GRP growth of the Jizzakh region amounted to 4.7% and reached 4,166.7 billion soums. In the sectoral structure of GRP, the growth rates were: in agriculture, forestry and fisheries - 102.9%(share in the GRP structure - 33.0%), industry - 104.7% (18.5%), construction - 104.6 % (6.7%) and the service sector - 105.7% (41.8%). The volume of GRP per capita increased by 2.2% and amounted to 2,879.5 thousand soums.
