According to the results of January-March 2022, the volume of GRP of Kashkadarya region amounted to 8,360.5 billion soums and, compared to January-March 2021, increased by 3.2%. The following main sectors recorded positive growth rates: in agriculture, forestry and fisheries - 101.0% (share in the GRP structure - 21.0%), industry - 104.7% (23.5%) and services - 104 .8% (47.6%). In construction, there was a decrease in volume in comparable prices, which amounted to 94.6% compared to January-March 2021 (the share of this industry in the GRP structure is 7.9%). GRP per capita increased by 1.0% and amounted to 2,447.6 thousand soums.
