According to the results of January-March 2022, the volume of GRP of Samarkand region amounted to 10,086.5 billion soums and, compared to January-March 2021, increased by 6.0%. In this region, positive growth rates were noted in the sectors of agriculture, forestry and fisheries - 101.9% (share in the GRP structure - 25.5%), industry - 110.7% (19.5%), construction - 108.6 % (6.9%) and services - 105.7% (48.1%). GRP per capita increased by 3.8% and amounted to 2,496.3 thousand soums.
