On July 1 this year, the State Committee on Statistics hosted an event dedicated to the 30th anniversary of the adoption of the Emblem of our national pride under the motto “Olamni mahliyo aylagan diyor!”.

The event provided detailed information about the state emblem and its meaning, role in the expression of state independence.

In particular, the State Emblem was approved by a law adopted by the Supreme Council of the Republic of Uzbekistan on July 2, 1992. For this reason, July 2 has become a holiday for the citizens of Uzbekistan, one of the most expensive and memorable days.

Our Emblem combines political, national, economic, geographical, ethnic and other features and rich historical traditions of our state. Also, in our emblem, the principles of the social and state structure of Uzbekistan are expressed in a peculiar way. According to the law "On the State Emblem of the Republic of Uzbekistan", the State Emblem of the Republic of Uzbekistan is a symbol of the state independence of our country.
