As of January 1, 2022, the streets of the Republic are illuminated with the help of 562.7 thousand pieces of lighting equipment. Compared to last year, their number increased by 40.6 thousand units (7.8%).
In general, about 1/4 of street lighting equipment in the republic falls on the city of Tashkent (136.3 thousand units or 24.2% of the total). This is followed by Fergana (50.8 thousand units or 9.0%), Namangan (46.4 thousand units or 8.3%) and Andijan (45.4 thousand units or 8.1%) regions.
