According to the results for January-June 2022, the share of industry in the GDP of the Republic of Uzbekistan amounted to 29.2%.
In the period under review, the share of mining and quarrying in the structure of value added of the industrial sector increased to 15.7% against 15.3% in January-June 2021. Accordingly, there was an increase in the share of the manufacturing industry to 77.0% (in January-June 2021 - 76.9%).
