According to the results of January-June 2022, the gross value added (GVA) in construction in Surkhandarya region amounted to 1,393.8 billion soums and, compared to the same period in 2021, increased by 5.9%. In the period under review, the share of this sector in GRP reached 9.0% and increased by 0.2 percentage points compared to January-June last year, and by 1.7 percentage points compared to the same period in 2018.
