In January-June 2022, in the Surkhandarya region, most of the disbursed investments in fixed assets were directed to new construction. The volume of investments aimed at new construction reached 3,243.7 billion soums, which accounted for 59.8% of the total amount of spent investments.
Investments aimed at expansion, reconstruction of existing economic facilities, modernization and technical re-equipment - 1,529.5 billion soums or 28.2% of the total amount of investments in the region. The remaining 12.0%, or 648.8 billion soums, was directed to other expenses.
