In January-June 2022, in the structure of assimilated investments in fixed assets by type of economic activity, housing construction is leading in the Surkhandarya region.
At the expense of all sources of financing, investments in this industry were disbursed - 976.1 billion soums or 18.0 % of the total volume of disbursed investments in fixed assets. In the structure of the processing industry, the most volumes of investments were disbursed in the following 2 types of activities:
- food production - 140.1 billion soums (share in total investment in fixed assets 2.6 %);
- production of textiles and clothing - 500.6 billion soums (9.2 %).
