In order to widely promote a healthy lifestyle and develop mass sports in our country, the traditional football competition "Government Cup" was organized among employees of the central office of various ministries, departments and other state organizations.
A team of employees of the Central Office of the State Committee on Statistics also took part in the competition.
It should be noted that more than 60 teams took part in the competition this year. The draw, conducted by the specialists of the Football Association of Uzbekistan, was transparent, fair and with strict observance of sports principles.
According to the rules of the competition, the matches lasted two halves of 25 minutes. The games were held at the Bunyodkor stadium.
The Goskomstat team advanced to the next round, having beaten the team of the Ministry of Emergency Situations with a score of 2:1 in the preliminary match.
