On November 17 of this year, a festive event was held at the Statistics Agency under the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan in connection with the adoption of the State Flag of the Republic of Uzbekistan on November 18.
The event was attended by employees of the central office of the Statistics Agency.
Advisor to the Director of the Statistics Agency on increasing the efficiency of spiritual and educational work, ensuring compliance with legislation on the state language, Akhmedov Kiyomkhon Elyoskhonovich and the head of the legal department, Tukhtaev Vakhob Oripovich, informed that on November 18, 1991, the law “On the State Flag of the Republic of Uzbekistan” was adopted by the Supreme Council of the Republic Uzbekistan extraordinary adoption at the VII session, the meaning of the flag, the origin and lexical meaning of the word flag, the appearance of flags in the history of our country.
