On November 30, 2023, a meeting was held between representatives of the Statistics Agency and a review mission led by a group of international experts from the World Health Organization (WHO) on a situation analysis to support the development of the National Strategy and Action Plan for Healthy and Active Longevity in Uzbekistan.
During this meeting, issues related to conducting a review of the current state of health and aging in Uzbekistan, developing recommendations and necessary actions to support healthy aging, as well as assisting in the development of the National Strategy and Action Plan for healthy and active aging in the country were discussed.
Following the meeting, the parties agreed on further work and cooperation.
