A round table was held at Karshi International University on preparations for the population census and the demographic situation of the region by the Statistical Department of the Kashkadarya Region of the Agency for Statistics under the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
During the round table, the regional statistical department gave a detailed overview of the population census, population size and its structure, number of births, deaths, marriages and divorces, and natural population growth.
The experience of foreign countries in preparing for the population census, the main goals and objectives of the census event, as well as the work done and tasks that should be implemented in the future are also described in detail.
The specialists of the statistical department gave detailed answers to the students’ questions.
