On March 14 of this year, the Statistical agency under the president of the Republic of Uzbekistan held a presentation on the results of the training course organized by the International Monetary Fund's Institute for potential development in Washington, D.C. (USA) from february 26 to march 8 this year on the topic “High frequency indicators of economic activity – Quarterly National Accounts”.
Participant of the training course - the Deputy Head of the Division of Formation and Analysis of Macroeconomic Indicators Mamatmuradov Khusniddin shared their knowledge and skills in the presentation, as well as the final conclusions with the agency staff.
The participants of the presentation were familiarized with the formation of monthly indicator of economic growth, their consistensy with quarterly and annual national accounts, the use of benchmarking methods in calculations, the data revision policy, the procedure for publishing data and experience of developed countries.
Also during the presentation, information was provided on the current state of formation of monthly and quarterly indicators of economic growth in the participating countries and answers were given to participants' questions.
