On March 26 of this year, an online meeting was held between representatives of the Statistics Agency under the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan and employees of the Statistical Office of the Republic of Serbia in order to exchange experiences and best practices.
During the meeting, the Statistical Office of the Republic of Serbia demonstrated the Information Systems Technology (IST) software product, which is used to improve statistical processes, allows you to generate statistical reports and summarize statistical data, metadata and integrate statistical data from various databases.
On March 4, 2020, a Memorandum of Understanding was signed between the State Committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan for Statistics and the Statistical Office of the Republic of Serbia on cooperation in the field of statistics.
Following the talks, the parties agreed to expand bilateral cooperation in various areas, and to continue dialogue and meetings on issues of interest to both sides.
