The technical assistance mission of the International Monetary Fund, scheduled for April 8-12, 2024, continues its activities at the Statistics Agency under the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
In accordance with the mission program, the responsible staff of the Department of Macroeconomic Indicators and National Accounts of the Statistics Agency and the representative of the International Monetary Fund for National Accounts Statistics Levan Gogoberishvili analyzed the composition of the unobserved economy by sector and the compliance of calculations with international standards.
At the same time, the mission participants considered the issues of reflecting the unobserved economy in such components as household final consumption expenditures and gross fixed capital accumulation.
