On April 23, 2024, the Statistics Agency under the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan hosted a presentation on the results of a seminar on the topic "Regional seminar on calculating housing price indices" organized by the International Monetary Fund (IMF) in Tbilisi, Gruziya, from April 15 to 19 this year.
In the presentation, the Agency's employees were informed of the knowledge and skills acquired during the seminar by Egamshukurov Zainiddin Sodikovich, head of the Price Statistics Department of the Statistics Agency under the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan and Dzhumanazarov Kamolbek Shavkatovich, a specialist of the 1st category.
The participants in the calculation of the housing price index were presented with the experience of Europe, in particular Ireland and the CIS countries.
Also, during the presentation, the current state of calculating the housing price index in the participating countries was discussed and detailed answers were given to the questions of interest to the participants.
