On April 23, 2024, a presentation was held at the Agency of Statistics under the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan following a meeting of specialists from statistical services of the CIS countries on statistics for the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), organized by the Interstate Statistical Committee of the CIS and the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) in Moscow (Russian Federation) ) April 17-18, 2024.
Head of the Department of Statistics of the Social Sphere and Sustainable Development Kirgizov Dilshodbek Erkinbaevich, Chief Specialist of the Department of Statistical Observations of the Activities of Non-Profit Organizations, the Sphere of Culture and Tourism and Leading Specialist of the Department of Formation of Summary Analytical Information on Statistics of Foreign and Domestic Trade Salimov Nurbek Bakhtiyor Ugli, who took part in this meeting on statistics for the SDGs, made a presentation.
The presentation presented innovative approaches to closing SDG data gaps, improving monitoring and visualization of indicators, and identifying priorities for capacity building in SDG statistics.
Also, during the event, an exchange of views on this topic took place, and participants received detailed answers to all their questions.
