From April 16 to April 25 of this year, training seminars were organized at the Statistics Agency under the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan with the participation of agency employees and specialists from ministries and departments responsible for the generation of gender data.
Also, the holding of seminars was approved by the decision of the Senate of the Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan No. PS-875-IV dated February 10, 2024, developed in connection with the implementation of the tasks defined in the program of events.
The participants of the event were presented with the target indicators of the strategy for achieving gender equality in the Republic of Uzbekistan until 2030, approved by Resolution of the Senate of the Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated May 28, 2021 No. PS-297-IV, in a timely manner, in full, and agreements were made regarding ensuring quality formation, as well as the formation of their metadata.
During this event, in providing international organizations and other users of gender statistics with complete and objective information on the results of ongoing reforms in the field of gender equality of the Republic of Uzbekistan, gender.stat.uz also provided information on the role of the official portal.
The seminars were held in the form of discussions with representatives of ministries and departments, and detailed answers were given to questions from participants.
