A meeting of the United Nations Economic Commission for Europe Expert Group on National Accounts was held on 23-25 April 2024 in Geneva, Switzerland.
The event was attended by experts from national statistical services and central (national) banks of the CIS and foreign countries, as well as UNECE, IMF, Eurostat and the World Bank, as well as a number of international organizations.
The meeting was attended by the head of the Department of Macroeconomic Indicators and National Accounts of the Statistics Agency under the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Abrorali Mamajanov.
The main objective of the workshop is to support the implementation of the System of National Accounts, Balance of Payments and other relevant international statistical methodologies by promoting the use of best practices and facilitating the development of recommendations and methodological materials.
