On May 2, 2024, a presentation was held at the Agency of Statistics under the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan on the results of the meeting of the expert group on national accounts, organized by the United Nations Economic Commission for Europe on April 23–25, 2024 in Geneva, Switzerland.
In the presentation, the head of the Department of Macroeconomic Indicators and National Accounts of the Agency, Abrorali Mamadzhanov, introduced the participants to the issues discussed at the meeting, methodological changes that will be made to the “System of National Accounts” and “Balance of Payments”.
Also during the event, an exchange of views on the topic took place, and questions from participants were answered in detail.
