Yesterday, a presentation meeting was held at the Statistics Agency of Uzbekistan on the experience-sharing meetings that took place in Warsaw, Poland.


At the presentation, D. Zakirov, Head of the Department of Organization of Statistical Work and Methodology; A. Sultanov, Head of the Department for Monitoring and Coordination of the Open Data Portal; and U. Noipov, Deputy Head of the Department for International Cooperation and Information Exchange, shared the new information and skills they gained during the meetings.


The Poland meetings focused on topics such as “Data Management – Concepts and Examples in the International Statistical Community,” “Current Methodologies – Implementation of International Standards in Poland’s Labor Force Survey Methodology,” “Short-term Statistics – National and European Perspectives, Sources of Data,” “The Polish Statistics Office’s Experience in Cooperation with the Polish Open Data Portal and Data Transparency,” and “Innovative Activities in Statistics – Creating an Innovative Culture in Poland’s Official Statistics.”

It was also noted that both parties agreed to establish bilateral cooperation and continue experience-sharing efforts to further develop the fields of statistics and open data. At the end of the meeting, questions from the participants were answered.

As a reminder, these experience-sharing meetings for the employees of the Statistics Agency of Uzbekistan were organized on October 9–10, 2024, in Warsaw, Poland.
