On November 25 this year, the Statistics Agency hosted a presentation on the best practices of the National Statistical Office of the United Kingdom (ONS), held on November 11-14 this year in London at the invitation of the National Statistical Office of the United Kingdom.

Shokhrukh Odilov, Head of the Department for the Development of Digital Technologies and Interactive Services of the Statistics Agency, and Nurbek Sheraliev, Head of the Department for Maintaining and System Maintenance of Statistical Registers, who took part in this event, shared their knowledge and skills with the agency's staff.



Also during the presentation, the best practices of the National Statistical Office of the United Kingdom (ONS) were presented, namely: the legislative framework for obtaining, processing, storing and distributing data in statistical activities, national practice, the experience of the United Kingdom on existing problems and shortcomings and their solutions, features of ensuring the effective use of administrative data in activities, issues of integration with other departments, obstacles, problems and solutions, the UK's experience in the formation and maintenance of statistical registers (enterprises and organizations, sectors of the economy), the specifics of conducting trade statistics, the practical application of modern digital technologies, the results achieved in the field of digitalization of the UK national statistical system, as well as the unique experience of organizing and conducting censuses (population, agriculture, business) in the UK.

During the event, an exchange of views on the topic also took place, and detailed answers were given to the questions of interest to the participants.
