On December 12 of this year, the Statistics Agency under the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan organized an online webinar for the staff of the Department of Organizing and Conducting Census Processes of the Statistics Departments of the Republic of Karakalpakstan, regions, and the Tashkent city on the topic “Normative-legal basis of the population and agriculture census.”
During this webinar, discussed the state of propaganda work carried out by regional statistical bodies, the state of installation of signs with street names and house numbers in mahallas. Also, at the webinar, the legal framework of the population census and the agricultural census was explained in detail and answers to questions were given.
At the end of the webinar, the staffs of the Department of Organizing and Conducting Census Processes were given test questions regarding to the topic, and their level of knowledge on the topic was assessed.
