The main purpose of the Seminar was the annual report of the United Nations Statistical Commission, developed by the inter-Secretariat working group on national accounts, and advice on a practical guide.The seminar was attended by the Head of the Department of Macroeconomic indicators and national accounts - Abrorali Mamadjanov, Head of the Department of organization and methodology of statistical works - Dilshod Zakirov, nov and employees of the Department of macroeconomic indicators and national accounts.
Recall that the United Nations Statistical Commission, established in 1947, is the highest body of the global statistical system. Commission brings together the heads of statistical offices of UN member states from all over the world. Commission is the main decision-making body in the field of international statistical activities, in particular, the development of statistical standards, concepts and methodologies and their implementation internationally and nationally. Commission is also a functional commission of the UN Economic and Social Council (ECOSOS), helping the council to develop national statistical systems and ensure the comparability of National Statistics, coordinate the activities of UN specialized statistics agencies in and improve statistics and methodology.

Комиссия объединяет руководителей статистических ведомств государств-членов ООН по всему миру и является основным органом, принимающим решения в области Международной статистики. Комиссия таже, отвечает за разработку статистических стандартов, рекомендаций и методик, реализуемых на международном и национальном уровнях. Комиссия также является функциональной комиссией Экономического и Социального Совета ООН (ЭКОСОС), помогающая совету развивать национальные статистические системы и обеспечивать сопоставимость национальных статистических данных, координировать деятельность специализированных учреждений ООН в области статистики и совершенствовать статистику и статистическую методологию.
