On March 20 of this year, a meeting took place at the National Statistics Committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan with Antti Karttunen, the Project Coordinator of the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE) in Uzbekistan, and the Chairman of the National Statistics Committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
During the meeting, the National Statistics Committee and the OSCE Project Coordinator in Uzbekistan discussed the results achieved in recent years in the field of open data and plans for the future.
In particular, special attention was paid to issues such as further improving the country's position in international rankings in the fields of open data and open gender data, expanding cooperation in the area of Big Data, and attracting international experts to enhance statistical activities.
An agreement was reached on the further development of bilateral cooperation.
