On April 18 of this year, a meeting was organized at the National Statistics Committee with the Deputy Representative of the United Nations Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) in Uzbekistan.

The event was attended by responsible staff members of the central office led by A. Ikramov, Deputy Chairman of the National Statistics Committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan, as well as Sh. Umarov, Deputy Representative of the UN Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) in Uzbekistan, and other specialists.

The meeting focused on cooperation in population and agricultural census matters. Discussions covered various aspects of FAO's support for this process, including technical and methodological assistance, involvement of international experts, preparation of methodological materials, utilization of cartographic data, development of promotional tools, and publication of final results. Other areas of collaboration were also explored.

At the conclusion of the talks, both parties agreed to further strengthen their mutual cooperation.
