In our country, special attention is paid to promoting a healthy lifestyle among the population, attracting employees of state and public organizations, as well as all citizens to mass sports.
In order to implement the resolution of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated January 14, 2021 No. PP-4954 "On measures for the further development and popularization of chess, as well as improving the system of training chess players," on May 28, 2025, the Trade Union Committee of the National Statistics Committee organized a chess tournament among employees of the central office.
According to the results of the competition, the 1st place was won by the Deputy Head of the Department of Foreign Economic Activity and Trade Statistics - Olimjon Sidikov, the 2nd place was taken by the Chief Specialist of the Price Observation Department under the Program of International Comparisons - Kamolbek Jumanazarov, the 3rd place was taken by the Head of the Energy Statistics Department - Zayniddin Egamshukurov.
The winners and prize-winners of this competition were presented with diplomas and commemorative gifts.
