The working visit of international expert Dr. Pali Lekhohla on the topic "Modernization of Statistics" continues at the National Statistics Committee.
Within the framework of the visit, practical meetings and discussions are being held on reforming the national statistical system and introducing modern international standards and best practices.
In particular, views are being exchanged on areas such as improving statistical networks, enhancing institutional capacity, implementing information and communication technologies, upgrading personnel qualifications, media and information policy, as well as expanding international cooperation. Simultaneously, proposals and recommendations aimed at transforming the country's statistical system, establishing a modern statistical office, and improving the activities of educational and research institutions are being discussed.
The international expert visit will continue until July 5, 2025.
