On July 18 of this year, an expanded meeting of the Board of the National Statistics Committee took place, dedicated to the results of the second quarter of 2025.
The meeting was attended by the leadership of the Committee, heads of departments and divisions of the central office, as well as heads of regional statistical offices.
At the Board meeting, discussions focused on the implementation of the Statistical Work Program, the Decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan No. 27 dated February 24, 2025 "On Additional Measures to Elevate the System of Organizing and Conducting Statistical Work to a New Level," the Resolution "On Measures to Organize the Activities of the National Statistics Committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan," and other legislative acts. An analysis of the work completed in the second quarter of 2025 was also presented.
Within the framework of the agenda items, the work carried out in the first half of the year and the identified shortcomings were analytically and critically discussed.
At the conclusion of the meeting, it was emphasized that initiative and responsibility would be required from all heads of departments and divisions within the central apparatus, as well as leaders of regional statistical offices, to ensure timely and effective implementation of the assigned tasks.
