On July 22, 2025, a meeting took place at the National Statistics Committee with representatives of the Commercial Law Development Program (CLDP) of the United States Department of Commerce.

The meeting was attended by heads of departments from the National Statistics Committee, while the US delegation was represented by Jocelyn Steiner, CLDP's international lawyer-consultant, Sidney Dinenberg, a senior specialist in international programs, and Ekaterina Biryukova, a specialist from the US Embassy in Tashkent.

The main purpose of the meeting was to exchange information on economic development, investments, strengthening women's economic rights and opportunities, as well as to discuss potential areas of future cooperation.

During the negotiations, special attention was paid to the disaggregation of gender-specific data and the formulation of effective policies and programs based on this information. Additionally, views were exchanged on improving information sharing between government bodies and international partners, identifying areas for technical assistance, and exploring opportunities for future collaboration.
