According to the National Statistics Committee, as of January 1, 2025, the number of small enterprises and microfirms led by women entrepreneurs in Uzbekistan totaled 43,860.
Their distribution by type of economic activity is as follows:
- in the service sector - 17,239;
- in the trade sector - 17,161;
- in the industrial sector - 5,464;
- in other sectors - 3,996.
The net income from product sales of small enterprises and microfirms headed by women amounted to 47.7 trillion soums, which is an increase of nearly 10.1 trillion soums compared to the same period last year.
