According to preliminary data from the National Statistics Committee, in January-June 2025, all categories of farms in the republic produced 1.9 million tons of potatoes.
This indicator increased by 3.4% compared to the corresponding period last year.
The volume of potatoes grown by region is as follows:
Samarkand region - 334.3 thousand tons
Surkhandarya region - 247.5 thousand tons
Andijan region - 232.7 thousand tons
Fergana region - 231.3 thousand tons
Bukhara region - 190.8 thousand tons
Namangan region - 152.3 thousand tons
Tashkent region - 150 thousand tons
Kashkadarya region - 118.9 thousand tons
Khorezm region - 84.4 thousand tons
Navoi region - 67.1 thousand tons
Republic of Karakalpakstan - 34.9 thousand tons
Syrdarya region - 31.4 thousand tons
Jizzakh region - 13.7 thousand tons
