According to the National Statistics Committee, in January-June 2025, a total of 1 million karakul skins were obtained in the republic.
This indicator increased by 2.3% compared to the corresponding period last year.
The largest share in the total volume of karakul skins was accounted for by the Bukhara region (40.9%).

Navoi region – 298.6 thousand pcs
Kashkadarya region – 180.7 thousand pcs
Republic of Karakalpakstan – 77.4 thousand pcs
Samarkand region – 23.3 thousand pcs
Surkhandarya region – 9,5 thousand pcs
Khorezm region – 6.2 thousand pcs
Jizzakh region – 3.5 thousand pcs
