According to the National Statistics Committee, in January-July 2025, a total of 1.5 million citizens of Kazakhstan visited Uzbekistan for tourism purposes.
This indicator increased by 620.7 thousand people or 39.3% compared to the corresponding period last year.
Citizens of Kazakhstan who visited Uzbekistan during this period were distributed according to the purpose of the trip as follows:
visiting relatives - 1,246.8 thousand people;
official - 111.5 thousand people;
travel - 102.9 thousand people;
treatment - 4.9 thousand people;
commercial - 0.3 thousand people;
study - 0.1 thousand people.
