According to preliminary data from the National Statistics Committee, in January-August 2025, 490.8 thousand tons of potatoes worth 49.7 million US dollars were imported into Uzbekistan from 11 foreign countries.
The volume of imports increased by 41 thousand tons or 9.1% compared to the corresponding period last year.
Countries that exported the most potatoes to Uzbekistan in 8 months:
Pakistan - 299.4 thousand tons;
Kazakhstan - 110 thousand tons;
Afghanistan - 34.8 thousand tons;
Kyrgyzstan - 18.1 thousand tons;
Russia - 15.4 thousand tons;
Other countries - 13.1 thousand tons.
