According to the National Statistics Committee, as of October 1, 2025, 57.8 thousand industrial enterprises operate in Uzbekistan.
They are distributed by type of economic activity as follows:
Food production - 11.5 thousand units;
Production of other non-metallic mineral products - 8.2 thousand units;
Production of clothing - 5.8 thousand units;
Production of finished metal products - 4.7 thousand units;
Furniture production - 4 thousand units;
Production of textile products - 3.6 thousand units;
Production of rubber and plastic products - 2.7 thousand units.
